How to Take a Break from Paddy Power:
As part of our commitment to responsible gaming, Paddy Power provides several options to customers who would like to take a break from gambling.
With our Short break option you can Take a Break for 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During this time you will not be able to access your Paddy Power account. We will also stop all marketing emails during this time. The break will be automatically lifted once your time period has ended.
With our long break option you can choose to Take a Break for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years and 5 years. In this case we will stop sending marketing emails. When the chosen time has elapsed you must contact Customer Support to start the reactivation process. The reactivation process takes up to 24 hours.
Our long break option now covers both Paddy Power and Betfair brands. From 30/12/2016, if you self-exclude from one brand, we will endeavour to prevent you accessing your Account within your selected self-exclusion timeframe across both brands. If you have had an account closed on either brand and it may contain a balance, please contact the relevant Customer Service team.
If you choose a lifetime break you will not be able to reopen your account with Paddy Power. We will also endeavour to find any new accounts that you create and close accordingly. We will no longer send you any marketing emails. Any unsettled bets may be void when the exclusion is applied provided the result is not already determined.
To Take a Break from Paddy Power you can do this by contacting our customer service team by phone, chat or e-mail. Inform them that you would like to Take a Break, and they will take it from there. You can also use our self-serve option that can be found in the Take a Break tab in the 'My Account' section on the website.
If you are an active mobile customer we suggest you remove Paddy Power apps from your mobile device and unfollow us on any social media.

If you are a customer of Paddy Power betting shops, then you can download a self-exclusion form below. Please complete the form in full, attach a recent passport photo which shows a clear likeness of you, sign the form and return it to us by Freepost; the freepost address for both our UK and Ireland shops is at the bottom of the form. Alternatively, you can pick up a form from the staff in any of our shops which they can assist you in completing. They can also supply you with support documentation, which contain advice on coping with gambling issues and finding help.
